The Lasher font is a very Deco typeface. It was inspired by the lettering on the front of the old ‘Lasher Hatchery’ on Petaluma Blvd. in Petaluma, California. My possibly very roundabout method of creation began with drawing the letterforms in SuperPaint. I then pasted the characters into a font resource in ResEdit. I used this bitmapped version as a template to create the font, postscript, AFM and screen documents, in Fontographer.
This is my first laser font effort.
This font is being distributed vis BBS, beginning with the North Coast Mac Users board in Sonoma County, CA. I hope it eventually seeps around to other areas.
